We are thrilled to announce the promotion of our Sous Chef, Belinda Ferus, to Executive Chef! Many moons ago Belinda’s family owned La Motte, where her love for wine started. From the age of five, her father would regularly call her to the cellar to taste his wine. Later, Belinda found great food inspiration working in the first organic pub in England, and while working in Guernsey, she only worked with fresh produce. Belinda went on to do her apprenticeship at Grande Roche in Paarl.
“For me, the wine comes first, then the food. The food should complement the wine.”
