The wine oozes elegance from start to finish with layer upon layer of complexity. Every sip is an adventure. It is a very expressive Syrah expression with a red fruit profile of strawberry and cherry, which allows the floral and spicy aroma to be more expressive. The result is a cocktail of flavours and aromas held together by smooth tannin and bright acidity.

Yield: 8 tons per hectare

VINIFICATION
Fermentation: Cold maceration for two days before inoculation with a selected yeast strain. Fermentation on the skins in stainless steel tanks. Regular pump-overs were done during fermentation. Malolactic fermentation done in stainless steel tanks.
Barrel Maturation: 300l French oak barrels.
80% new and 20% second fill.
Bottle Maturation: 12 months prior to release
TASTING NOTE
Ripe strawberry and black cherry are the cornerstones of this elegant Syrah. They underpin layers of white pepper, star anise, and jasmine that are prominent on every sip. Bright acidity and soft tannin complete the wine, and the finish is long floral, and spicy.
FOOD PAIRING
This deep red will pair perfectly with an oxtail stew or a succulent steak.
