EASTER FUN AT RHEBOKSKLOOF 2024

Easter Fun at Rhebokskloof returns for another 4 days of unprecedented fun in the sun for 2024! Get ready for a weekend full of Easter goodness in the heart of the Paarl winelands where the kids get to run and play while enjoying a variety of fun easter activities outdoors.

From the much-anticipated Easter Egg hunt to cooling off on the slippery slides, we offer a safe environment for the little ones. The grown-ups get to take a much deserved break with a glass of wine surrounded by beautiful views and fresh air.

What’s different this year at our Easter Fun Weekend 2024

Two Easter Egg Hunts:

This year we will split the egg hunts into two sessions according to age. At 12 pm the little ones from ages 0-3 years will go on a hunt accompanied by parents and the Easter Bunny. The older kids aged 4-12 years will then embark on their adventure at 1 pm!

This is just to make the egg hunting ground a bit more fair as the older kids are naturally faster and bigger than the toddlers who can sometimes “overwhelm” the hunt.

Please note that the after finding the eggs, children must put their eggs into the Easter Bunny’s basket after which he will delegate the eggs to ALL the children. While some might find this “unfair” Rhebokskloof wants to nurture an environment of sharing, equality, and adventure. Sometimes it’s about the journey, not the reward.

Short lines and shorter wait times:

To eliminate the long wait times for face painting, we will now have THREE stations! Grown-ups can now also opt for a painted face with the kids. Now, that will make a cool Easter Weekend family photo.

Double the Easter Fun:

This year we will have two slippery slides and two jumping castles with each being allocated again according to age group. A jumping castle and slide will be allocated to children aged 0-3 years and another to children aged 4-12 years old.

This will be implemented simply as a safety measure and to ensure all children get to enjoy themselves.

Easter Weekend Picnics and Menu

The adults can enjoy our fantastic gourmet picnics over the long Easter weekend which includes a bottle of wine to pair with the amazing spread for two people. This year we also have a kids’ picnic! Rhebokskloof Estate’s Easter Weekend remains one of the biggest and most popular events in Cape Town. For the past two years this event has sold out on ALL four Easter Weekend days a week before the time. We urge you to buy your children’s tickets today to avoid disappointment as space is limited.

Good to know:

• Food will NOT BE ALLOWED to be brought into the premises over the Easter Weekend event days. Bags will be checked at the entrance.
• There will be a variety of cost-friendly options for guests to purchase on the day.
• Tickets are not refundable.
• Guests are allowed to bring umbrellas, blankets, fold-up chairs etc to relax on our lawns.
• Pets are allowed, but please keep them on a leash as some people are afraid of dogs. Also please make sure you clean up after your pets as there are children running freely across the lawns between activities.
• We recommend bringing the children’s swimming costumes so they may enjoy the slippery slides.
• Each child is to receive no more than 3 chocolate Easter eggs from the hunt to be fair.
• We prefer to go CASHLESS over the weekend.
