The estate has a rich farming history, with the oldest building allegedly used as a wine cellar, dating back to 1797. It took nearly two centuries before a more formal wine cellar was built in 1989.
Rhebokskloof Estate prides itself as a trail blazer in the wine industry. It was one of the first wine estates in the Paarl region to introduce an estate-labelled wines in 1990. Shortly after, the farm opened its doors to the public, birthing a rich legacy of hospitality.
