VACANCY: BOOKKEEPER

Rhebokskloof Estate, located in Agter Paarl (Western Cape) has a position available for a driven team player with excellent time-management, planning & organisational skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, prioritise and work accurately under pressure.

The position requires excellent communications skills (Afrikaans & English) to communicate with Customers, Staff and Management.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Compiling and reconciling daily cash ups
• Handling of petty cash and processing thereof
• Daily import and reconciliation of data from Novtel POS to Pastel
• Reconciliation and processing of Function data on Pastel
• Import, processing and reconciliation of all bank accounts
• Processing of specific customer invoices controlled by this position
• Capturing journals on Pastel including customer discounts
• Novtel support and programming
• Support to Financial Manager

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Relevant experience in hospitality industry
• Strong computer skills (SAGE Pastel, SAGE VIP & MS Office, especially excel)
• Novtel POS or similar experience
• Own reliable transportation
