Join us at Rhebokskloof Estate this Christmas Day for a relaxed celebration with family and friends. El Picoteo has put together two festive dining experiences, so you can choose a leisurely three-course lunch in the restaurant or a gourmet picnic on the lawns, accompanied by live music.

A Festive Christmas Lunch at El Picoteo

If Christmas means gathering around a beautifully laid table and taking your time over a good meal, El Picoteo has just the menu for the occasion.
Enjoy a specially prepared three-course Christmas lunch, starting with a choice of smoked salmon roulade, slow-braised brisket or baked brinjal and mozzarella.
For mains, choose from a generous festive meat platter featuring gammon, lamb and chicken; a seafood platter with prawns, calamari, mussels and hake; or a Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian platter.
Dessert brings a choice of poached pear panna cotta or a rich dark chocolate and orange pudding.

Christmas Picnics on the Lawns
11:00 to 14:00
For those who prefer a more laid-back Christmas, we’re taking lunch outdoors.
Bring your picnic blankets and camping chairs, find a comfortable spot on the lawns and settle in for an afternoon of festive food and live music.
El Picoteo’s gourmet Christmas picnic baskets are filled with a generous selection of savoury and sweet treats, from freshly baked bread, cheeses and charcuterie to salads, lamb pastrami and honey-glazed gammon sandwiches.
There’s plenty for dessert too, including milk tart cinnamon buns and chocolate brownies.
Vegetarian and children’s picnic baskets are also available, making it easy for the whole family to join in.

Each paying adult receives a R75 drinks voucher, a wine glass and bottled water.
Picnics are self-service, and guests are welcome to bring their own blankets, camping chairs or picnic tables. Additional beverages are available for purchase on the day.
