Rhebokskloof Estate was brimming with a multitude of Easter weekend fun this year. In addition to our full-day Easter Fun event for families, we also hosted the amazing Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra of Vienna on Easter Saturday on April 8th.
We are proud to say that this year’s Easter Fun weekend was another sell-out success that saw our lawns filled with excitement, laughter, and joy. It’s not often that the Paarl Winelands gets to host live classical music concerts from abroad, so we were thrilled to bring this experience to our customers.
The Schonbrunn Palace Orchestra: A Live Classical Music Concert in Paarl
On 8 April, Easter Saturday, we interrupted the usual full day of Easter Fun activities to host a spectacular one-of-a-kind music concert from a 9-piece Viennese Orchestra!
The internationally acclaimed Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra of Vienna is on their world tour and Southern Africa was one of its stops. We could not resist the opportunity to host them to delight our customers with an afternoon of good music and wine for the whole family.
Proceeds from this live classical music concert also raised funds for the efforts of the Fire Island Conservation, which aims to rehabilitate and protect the sea turtle. We were thrilled to bring this experience to the Winelands for such a noble cause.
Taking place at 4 pm in the afternoon, guests could pack their own picnics and come and relax on the lawns while being serenaded by the orchestra. The kids absolutely loved it too and opted to enjoy the performance outdoors by dancing.
What a fantastic Easter Saturday, and thank you to all those who came out to support us!

The Easter Weekend Fun Continues
Our regular Easter Fun schedule ran on Friday, Sunday, and Monday, with all three days selling out in advance. Gates opened at 10 am, and the official hunt commenced at 11 am. Our lawns were brimming with excitement as hunters sought out their eggs and spent their days dancing, watching the entertainment from the Easter Bunny and Spaghetti the Clown. Face painting, connecting with animals, jumping onto the slippery slides, and jumping castles kept the little ones entertained all day long.
Luckily, the adults could sit at leisure on the lawns or at the restaurant terrace with good food and wine offerings from our kitchens and cellars.
