If you are in Cape Town and looking to visit the surrounding areas, the Red Bus has created a one-day trip to visit three of the country’s best wine regions. Paarl, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch are part of this route, with Rhebokskloof included.
For more than 20 years we had the privilege to have William and Michael part of our Rhebokskloof family. They have been willing, dedicated, and loyal towards Rhebokskloof through all these years, and we can only be grateful.
It was a stunning summer #winesday evening at the intimate boutique wine store, Eighteen13. Our lovely 20 guests were welcomed with the Flatrock Sparkle, which was an absolute hit!
For this Women’s Day, we are taking a step back and reflecting on the almost-15-years that Rolanie Lotz has been an inspiration and unbreakable force at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate.
It is 2021 and it is safe to say that one of the keywords that stood out over the past year is “change”.
We went from crawling to running in the last two years with regards to renovation, repositioning, and rebranding – change is in our nature.
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of our Sous Chef, Belinda Ferus, to Executive Chef! Many moons ago Belinda’s family owned La Motte, where her love for wine started. From the age of five, her father would regularly call her to the cellar to taste his wine. Later, Belinda found great food inspiration working in the first organic pub in England, and while working in Guernsey, she only worked with fresh produce. Belinda went on to do her apprenticeship at Grande Roche in Paarl.
“For me, the wine comes first, then the food. The food should complement the wine.”
We are excited for Belinda to head our kitchen team and look forward to showing you her summer menu.
